TOP Server Red Prairie Transactional OPC Driver
Versatile Communication Interface for TCP/IP Transactions between TOP Servers or with Red Prairie Systems
The TOP Server® Red Prairie Driver provides a communication interface to Red Prairie systems with the same level of performance, stability and ease of configuration as any other TOP Server driver.
This driver provides data exchange between OPC UA, OPC DA, SuiteLink and DDE clients and business logistics systems powered by software from Red Prairie systems that provide a TCP/IP interface and a means of sending and receiving data transactions.
- Function as a sender of solicited messages/requests to the Red Prairie system
- Simultaneously be setup to receive data as unsolicited messages coming from the Red Prairie system.
- User can define a set of tags, group them as a "transaction" and then arrange to have that transaction sent by writing to a special master or control tag.
- The user can define any number of tags of mixed data types and lengths in the transaction.
NOTE: Because this software can send messages AND receive unsolicited messages simultaneously, this driver can also be used to achieve a transactional based means of communicating between two or more TOP Servers running in a plant. No Red Prairie system is required to take advantage of this messaging capability.

The demo is the full product once licensed. Once a client application connects to the TOP Server, the TOP Server runtime will operate for 2 hours at a time. At the end of the 2 hour demo period, the demo timer must be reset by restarting the TOP Server runtime service.
