The Siemens S7-200 PPI/PPM Serial driver works in conjunction with TOP Server® to provide data exchange between OPC UA, OPC DA, AVEVA SuiteLink and DDE clients and Siemens S7-200 PLCs using the PPI (Point-to-Point Interface) and PPM (Point-to-Point Multimaster) serial protocols.
This driver provides reliable serial communication with S7-200 series controllers, supporting direct connection via programming cable or network configurations with multiple PLCs on a single serial network.
Includes direct support for the EM241 Modem Module and uses extensive error handling to help ensure data integrity. The driver offers comprehensive memory area access and optimized performance for legacy S7-200 installations.

This driver is available in the TOP Server Siemens Suite, TOP Server Manufacturing Suite, and TOP Server Siemens Plus Suite.
