Reliable OPC Connectivity for Modbus Plus Networks via SA85/PCI-85 Interface Cards
This driver is only available as part of the following TOP Server driver suites:
Supports up to 8192 devices per channel for large scale network integration.
Up to 32 total channels supported, enabling high density communication architecture.
Each SA85 or PCI card supports up to 8 channels for optimized throughput.
Supports solicited, unsolicited, and mailbox com modes for flexible data exchange.
The Modbus Plus driver works in conjunction with TOP Server to provide data exchange between OPC UA, OPC DA, SuiteLink and DDE clients and devices supporting the Modbus Plus protocol using a Modbus Plus interface card in the TOP Server PC. The Schneider USB Adapter USB Adapter TSXUSBMBP Revision 2 is supported by this driver for applications where in PC interface cards are not available or possible. If you have USB Adapter TSXUSBMBP Revision 1, which appears as a COM port to the Windows operating system, you can use the Modbus RTU driver.
This driver supports client and server paths simultaneously. The server mode allows the driver to receive data by exception from other Modbus Plus devices acting as clients. Data integrity is ensured using extensive error handling.
The Modbus Plus driver includes direct integration with Modicon Concept and ProWORX programming packages, allowing users to directly import the tags from the PLC into TOP Server.
