The Aromat Serial Driver works in conjunction with TOP Server® to provide data exchange between OPC UA, OPC DA, SuiteLink and DDE clients and Aromat/NAIS/Matsushita PLCs using the Aromat MEWTOCOL-COM protocol over Serial or Ethernet gateway/terminal server connections. Matsushita and NAIS are other names that Aromat Devices are marketed under and this driver will work with those also.
Data acquisition is optimized based on upstream client demand while data integrity is ensured using extensive error handling.
