Product Overview

The GE Ethernet Global Data driver works in conjunction with TOP Server® to provide data exchange between OPC UA, OPC DA, SuiteLink and DDE clients and GE PLCs via the GE Ethernet Global Data (EGD) protocol. It supports Producer and Consumer connections and can also act as a standalone EGD device — allowing any PC to function as an EGD device using Unicast or Multicast UDP.

This driver is available in the following TOP Server driver suites: TOP Server GE Suite, TOP Server Manufacturing Suite.
