High performance real-time and EFM Gas and/or Liquid retrieval for ROC Plus Ethernet devices
This driver is available in the following TOP Server driver suites:
Max Channels
Devices per Channel
ROC Plus Protocol
TCP/IP Ethernet, UDP/IP
The Fisher ROC Plus Ethernet Device Driver works in conjunction with TOP Server® to provide data exchange between OPC, SuiteLink and DDE clients and Emerson Fisher ROC devices supporting the ROC Plus protocol over Ethernet. This includes ROC 809 and ROC 827 devices. No tag count limits or limits on the number of connected clients.
When part of the TOP Server EFM Suite, the Fisher ROC Plus Ethernet driver also collects historical Electronic Flow Measurement (EFM) gas and liquid history data working in conjunction with the EFM Exporter plug-in with supported export formats including Flow-Cal, PGAS and more. Such historical data is commonly used for production optimization and regulatory compliance.
Proven benefits that help you deploy faster and operate more reliably
Supports Automatic Tag Generation
Operator Identification (including configurable Access Level)
Time Synchronization
Read, Write, and Auto Tag Generation of User Program data (User Defined Points)
Multi-threaded architecture for high scalability, Runtime changes via wizard-based configuration interface with intuitive Properties Editor, Secure User Management, Built-in Device/Network Redundancy, Auto-Demotion (Slow Polling), Extensive communication and server diagnostics (OPC / Communications / Event Log)
EFM Support using the EFM Exporter Plug-In (EFM Exporter Suite Only): FlowCal CFX (V5 & V8 Gas; V7 & V8 Liquid), FlowCal Transaction Queue, PGAS, CSV, SQL / ODBC Databases
Support for hourly history, daily history, batch, liquid product, alarms, and events
Enable/Disable Clearing Cache on Next Upload
EFM Configuration and Mapping (EFM History / EFM Alarm / EFM Event)
EFM Pointer File caching to disk (eliminates repoll when server is restarted)
Pointer Rollback capability for retrieving lost EFM data from a device
Time synchronization on EFM poll, user-specified interval, or time of day
