The Honeywell UDC Serial driver for TOP Server® provides data exchange between OPC UA, OPC DA, SuiteLink, DDE clients and Honeywell UDC 3000/3300 devices over serial or Ethernet (terminal server) connections. It uses the Honeywell UDC Modbus protocol with broad addressing support. Data collection is optimized by client demand and safeguarded with extensive error handling.
Supports UDC 3000 and UDC 3300 (MODB3K mode) controllers over RS-232, RS-422, RS-485, and Ethernet-encapsulated serial connections with full address range (0–65535) and multiple Modbus function codes.
