The AutomationDirect DirectNET Serial driver works in conjunction with TOP Server® to provide data exchange between OPC UA, OPC DA, SuiteLink and DDE clients and AutomationDirect and Koyo devices using the Koyo DirectNET Hex Mode Protocol over Serial or Ethernet Gateway/Terminal server connections. These same PLCs were also sold under the names GE Series One (1), TI 305, and Simatic/TI 305.
Data acquisition is optimized based on upstream client demand while data integrity is ensured using extensive error handling.
