The Cutler-Hammer ELC Ethernet Driver works in conjunction with TOP Server® to provide data exchange between OPC UA, OPC DA, SuiteLink and DDE clients and Cutler-Hammer and Eaton PLCs using the Cutler-Hammer ELC Modbus Protocol over TCP connections.
Cutler-Hammer naming/address conventions are used for ease-of-configuration with a wide range of addressing support. Data acquisition is optimized based on upstream client demand while data integrity is ensured using extensive error handling.
