The DNP3 Client Ethernet driver works in conjunction with TOP Server® to provide data exchange between OPC UA, OPC DA, SuiteLink and DDE clients and DNP3 outstation devices (acting as DNP3 Servers), such as RTUs, IEDs, controllers and gateways supporting the DNP3 protocol over Ethernet. This protocol and these devices are commonly used in the automation of substations and control systems for the electric utility industry. This driver acts as a controlling station/client.
Support for DNP SaV2 and SaV5 security ensures the integrity of your data transmissions.
