The TOP Server® ODBC Client Bridge Driver provides a communication interface to databases as long as the database has an ODBC interface available. This includes but it not limited to Access, SQL Server, Oracle, and many others. Think of the driver as a way to bridge data from databases to OPC UA, OPC DA, and Suitelink.
This driver can read / write data from/to databases in four different ways - using fixed tables, dynamic tables, queries, and stored procedures. The driver can automatically generate tags in TOP server based on tables, queries and stored procedures. Data acquisition is optimized based on upstream client demand while data integrity is ensured using extensive error handling.
This driver is primarily used for reading and converting database data to OPC. If you need to log data from drivers in TOP Server a regular or triggered basis, you should consider the TOP Server DataLogger plug-in instead.

The demo is the full product once licensed. Once a client application connects to the TOP Server, the TOP Server runtime will operate for 2 hours at a time. At the end of the 2 hour demo period, the demo timer must be reset by restarting the TOP Server runtime service.
