Reliable Connectivity for MTConnect Compliant Agent Applications
The TOP Server MTConnect Client driver provides a communication interface for shop floor equipment supporting the MTConnect Standard protocol. MTConnect is an open standard owned and maintained by the MTConnect Institute. It is designed for connecting shop floor technologies to software applications for monitoring and analysis, furthering the goal towards seamless manufacturing operation and integration.
The MTConnect Client Driver provides users the opportunity to develop more efficient operations with improved production optimization and increased productivity by providing real-time operational data to client applications (including HMI, SCADA, Historian, MES, ERP, and countless custom applications).
Available here as a standalone real-time data driver or also available in the following vertical Industry Suite:

- Must support an MTConnect Version from V1.1 to V1.6, V2.0 (with XML 1.0 Schema Validation Enabled or Disabled)
- Must support an MTConnect Version of V1.7 or V1.8 (with XML 1.0 Schema Validation Disabled Only)
- NOTE: The MTConnect driver must always connect to an agent (i.e. direct connections to an adapter or device will fail)
- Confirm the correct TCP port for the MQTT agent corresponding to the device you are collecting data from and specify in the driver device properties.

Get Started Now
The demo is the full product once licensed. Once a client application connects to the TOP Server, the TOP Server runtime will operate for 2 hours at a time. At the end of the 2 hour demo period, the demo timer must be reset by restarting the TOP Server runtime service.
