Dream Report™ is a real time report generator solution that offers fast and effortless configuration through an intuitive, user-friendly interface. 1 - Data Collection
Dream Report integrates a robust communication kernel to collect data and alarms from multiple real time and historian sources. It uses OPC, OLE and ODBC standards to connect to and collect data from different suppliers. Custom drivers are also available, such as Modbus and SNMP, to leverage native history from SCADA systems, DCS, RTU and more.
2 - Report Design
Dream Report’s studio integrates an intuitive graphical editor to create and save state of the art reports as templates.
3 - Data logging
Dream Report integrates a powerful historian module to log clean and accurate data in any standard database such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, Access, and more. This unique feature positions Dream Report™ not only as a reporting tool, but also as the ideal solution for accessing, aggregating, and integrating data from edge to enterprise applications.
4 - Report Management
Dream Report allows the user to generate reports manually and automatically. The automatic mode allows the user to execute a report on an event and on a schedule. When ready, reports can be automatically printed, e-mailed, stored and published from any location, ever over the web.
5 - Data extraction & analysis
Dream Report integrates a user-friendly object and analytics library to extract data statistics and display data in multiple views like tables, Bars, Pies, Charts and more.
Dream Report simplifies report development with four modules: Studio, Runtime, Dynamic Report Generator, and Web Portal for seamless data insights.
Dream Report Logger Studio
Access Data From Many Sources: The Logger Studio enables the user to connect Dream Report to any Smart Device, RTU, or PLC, but also to any manufacturing application such as Scada Systems, DCS Systems, MES applications and more. It can also leverage data logged in any standard database.
Aggregate Data: With Dream Report Logger, the user can mix real time and historical data sources to aggregate all their data in one strategic information management application.
Manage Data and Alarms Individually: The Logger Studio is split into two configuration windows to allow you to effectively manage your logging data item groups and alarm groups separately. The user can also monitor the current value and status of their items in real-time.
Designer Studio
Intuitive Design Interface: The Designer Studio offers a user-friendly interface to easily create visually appealing report templates.
Dynamic Data Objects: The Dream Report Object Toolbar provides a dynamic object library designed for automation reports. Process data can be displayed to the form by simply dragging the desired object to the report designer workspace and adding a list of the items to be included in the report. Let the object handle all of the data extraction for you.
Manage Report Generation and Distribution: The Designer Studio also offers a Report Settings utility to help the user manage completed reports, including criteria for generating and distributing reports.
Dream Report Runtime
The Dream Report runtime is responsible for executing configured reports. In order to proactively generate and distribute reports the runtime operates silently in the background.
View Report Status: The Runtime Management Console includes a Report Queue view to see all reports scheduled to be generated. Users can also monitor the current status of each report, when it was last run, and the next scheduled runtime.
Generate Reports On Demand: The Dynamic Report Generator enables the user to select any report template and manually generate a new report with the last updated values. Then open and view the new report with a single click of a button.

Dynamic Report Generator
On Demand Report Generation: Most customer’s first objective is to get a proactive reporting solution that can generate reports automatically. But sometimes, you need up-to-date information at your fingertips immediately. The Dynamic Report Generator enables the user to manually generate reports at any time by selecting a report template in the project runtime. It provides an “on demand” update of the latest values without making changes to the original report configuration or stopping the runtime.
Modify Report Time Spans: The Dynamic Report Generator offers the extra flexibility of changing time settings on the fly to generate new reports for any time period. For example, the user can extend the data range for longer term trending purposes or request the most up to date values for just the last few minutes.
Manage Dynamic Report Distribution: The Dynamic Report Generator allows the user to generate new PDF and/or Excel reports. The user can then e-mail or print dynamic reports to make the data even more accessible whenever and wherever it is needed most.
Generate Reports Anywhere in the World: Not only can Dynamic Report Generation be done through a stand-alone application, but it can also be accessed through the web portal interface for immediate report generation from anywhere in the world.
Concurrent Report Generator: This new Power Generator™ technology enables runtime engine to generate multiple reports simultaneously. The number of concurrent generation queues is tunable. This is especially important for projects with high number of reporting templates or projects with high amount of concurrent web users.

Statistical Process Control (SPC) Feature
The SPC functionality is an option to the standard Dream Report. Once enabled, there are no limitations. You can generate as many SPC Calculations and Reports as you wish.
The SPC calculations query data from any of the Dream Report data sources. These include your automation control sources, HMI/SCADA, Historian, Relational Database, CSV File, Excel File and Manual Data Entry stores. Grab data from any data source and perform time based or sample based SPC Analysis.
Then display the results in the form of Charts and Tables. Dream Report objects are beautiful and present the results just as you would want to see them. They also highlight results using the standard 8 Nelson rules.
