1. Connect your DataCaster to your display using the supplied HDMI cable. 
2. Connect the supplied USB cable to the display if it can supply enough power off of one of it's USB ports, or use the included USB power supply
3. Mount the DataCaster on back of your display using included hook & loop adhesive fastener strips
4. See your results, value delivered!

And don't worry, if the device restarts due to a power failure, no action required, it will put the display you had up back on the screen when power returns and retrieve the latest data from your configured sources

Simple But Still Scalable 

Just because DataCaster is a rapid-time-to-value device, does not mean that it can't scale up to larger installations.  Examples of how solutions can scale include combining with Software Toolbox's other products for

REST/API Documentation - is available in the browser based configuration and served up by your device. Contact us if you need access to this documentation prior to having a device.

DataCaster Devices Don't Need much!

  • 2 Wire Single Pair Ethernet jack included but not currently implemented in firmware
• USB-A connected keyboard for initial setup ONLY - not required once setup on your network.
• Computer with a Chrome or Microsoft Edge browser for configuration

• Software license covered by the Data Caster Embedded Software EULA found in our knowledgebase.
