TOP Server SNMP Ethernet OPC Driver Details
Reliable monitoring of Managed Ethernet devices
The SNMP Driver works in conjunction with TOP Server® to provide data exchange between OPC UA, OPC DA, SuiteLink and DDE clients and managed Ethernet network devices supporting the SNMP protocol (versions 1, 2c, and 3) over TCP or UDP connections.
Do you need to connect SNMP Network Masters (aka agents or clients) such as IT management software to devices on your network to gather your process data? You need the TOP Server SNMP Agent Plug-In instead.

Standard SNMP Features Include
- Includes "Specialty tags" to help users know more than the current value of a single polled OID:
- Historical Data Attributes (Previous Value, Delta Time, Moving Average)
- Historical values are generated by the SNMP driver (not the remote Agent/device) when an OID has valid historical modifiers appended to it.
- Events Tags (Events_001, Events_001_001, Events_001_FieldCnt, Events_Count)
- A FIFO based queue is used to receive Traps/Notifications from previously configured Agents.
- Table Offsets (OID[1])
- Table access is accomplished by enumerating columns of a table. The SNMP Device driver uses an array-like notation for Table access.
- ScanFloor Property (_ScanRateFloor, _ScanRateFloorLock)
- The Scan Rate Floor prevents users from inadvertently overloading Agent/devices with read requests.

Get Started Now
The demo is the full product once licensed. Once a client application connects to the TOP Server, the TOP Server runtime will operate for 2 hours at a time. At the end of the 2 hour demo period, the demo timer must be reset by restarting the TOP Server runtime service.
