Serial & Ethernet Connectivity for Contrex (Fenner) Motion Controllers

The TOP Server^®Contrex Suite of drivers provides the ultimate in flexibility for connectivity to the widest range of motion control devices supporting the Contrex Protocols and integration to other software applications using OPC DA, OPC UA and AVEVA Suitelink. Older devices labeled Fenner also support the Contrex Protocols.

This suite includes connectivity to Contrex CX1000 Series devices using the Serial Communications Binary Data-Link Protocol as well as Contrex M-Series devices using the 4-Byte/8-Byte Data-Link Protocol, including M-Cut, M-Rotary, M-Shuttle, M-Track, M-Traverse, M-Drive, ML-Drive, M-Trim and ML-Trim motion controllers.

Although these drivers implementserial protocols, Ethernet Gateways/Terminal Servers or Ethernet/Serial converters (user supplied) are supported to empower you to modernize your connectivity to these devices as you integrate them into your systems.

The demo is the full product once licensed. Once a client application connects to the TOP Server, the TOP Server runtime will operate for 2 hours at a time. At the end of the 2 hour demo period, the demo timer must be reset by restarting the TOP Server runtime service.
