Product Overview

The Modbus RTU Serial driver works in conjunction with TOP Server to provide data exchange between OPC UA, OPC DA, SuiteLink and DDE clients and devices using the Modbus RTU Serial protocol over RS-232/422/485 connections.

This driver supports Modicon PLCs and the thousands of other devices in the industry that support the Modbus RTU Serial protocol, including JBUS. Data integrity is ensured using extensive error handling. Modbus Plus is also supported via the USB Adapter TSXUSBMBP Revision 1, which appears as a COM port to the operating system and this driver. For other Modbus Plus interfaces we have a dedicated Modbus Plus driver in the suite.

The Modbus Serial driver now features direct integration with Modicon Concept and ProWORX programming packages, allowing users to directly import the tags from the PLC into TOP Server.
