Your free trial has these limitations

Applications built with the trial OPC Data Client have a 30 minute time that starts when connected to an OPC Server.

• When the demo timer expires, a documented exception is thrown that you can catch and handle in your code if you wish.
• After the 30 minutes, the connection to the OPC Server will stop. You will then need to restart your application.

The trial software will completely stop functioning 210 days after initial version release, including the use of the components in any application, after which a license must be purchased in order to continue to use the product. Purchasing a license for the product will remove the demo limitation and you will be able to use any work you did while in trial mode.

The following are the base requirements for using this version of the OPC Data Client toolkit. 

• .NET Framework 4.7.2 or higher
• .NET 6 & 8
  
• Visual Studio 2022
• PyCharm
• Support for older versions of .NET and Visual Studio available - see release history matrix and contact us to request the required version
  • Depending on your needs, using an older version of the toolkit may be fine, especially if you are only using OPC DA support
• Windows 10 and 11 for desktop applications
• Windows Server 2016 through 2022
