The OPC Data Client trial installer will install a Launcher application that contains links to access a variety of types of documentation that is installed with the product and available online.

Applications built with the trial OPC Data Client have a 30 minute time that starts when connected to an OPC Server.
When the demo timer expires, a documented exception is thrown that you can catch and handle in your code if you wish.
After the 30 minutes, the connection to the OPC Server will stop. You will then need to restart your application.
The trial software will completely stop functioning 210 days after initial version release, including the use of the components in any application, after which a license must be purchased in order to continue to use the product. Purchasing a license for the product will remove the demo limitation and you will be able to use any work you did while in trial mode.
