High-performance connectivity for Allen-Bradley Micro800 series controllers over EtherNet/IP with CIP watchdog and native tag support.
This driver is included in the following TOP Server driver suites:
Native connectivity to Allen Bradley Micro800 controllers.
Reliable communication over Ethernet IP networks.
Direct tag-based data access for efficient integration.
Optimized data transfer for fast, reliable communications.
The Rockwell Allen-Bradley Micro800 Ethernet driver works in conjunction with TOP Server to provide data exchange between OPC UA, OPC DA, SuiteLink and DDE clients and Allen-Bradley Micro800 series control systems using the Allen-Bradley Ethernet/IP (CIP) protocol.
Advanced features such as CIP watchdog, native/symbol tagnames and advanced addressing support allow the driver to integrate Micro800 series systems controlling a range of applications such as conveyors, cutting, material handling, sorting, packaging, solar panel positioning and vertical form/fill/seal. The Micro800 Ethernet driver is a multi-threaded high-performance driver for simultaneous communication with multiple channels with multiple PLCs using multiple channels.
This driver does not require a Rockwell Automation RSLinx license and is available in the following TOP Server driver suites: TOP Server Allen-Bradley Suite, TOP Server Manufacturing Suite.
Proven benefits that help you deploy faster and operate more reliably
Supports native tag addressing, including global, program, and structure tags.
Supports user defined tags with substructure aliasing and numerous predefined types.
Array support for all atomic data types, with element blocking up to 3840 elements and optimized read and write operations.
Uses a standard Ethernet network interface card for TCP and IP communications.
"This driver is my go-to for anything Rockwell. Pair it with advanced tags and you have a powerhouse of convenience and adaptability."
