Reliable memory mapping for use as device database
This driver is only available as part of the following TOP Server driver suite:
Max Channels Supported
Max Devices per Channel
Configurable Persistence Rate
Client Interfaces (OPC UA/DA, SuiteLink, DDE)
The Memory Based Driver works in conjunction with TOP Server® to provide an exchange of device data between OPC UA, OPC DA, SuiteLink and DDE clients by acting as a device database or memory map container on the PC.
This driver enables you to retain tag values between server runs. When the driver's Item Persistence is activated, all D register addresses and string values will be saved when the OPC server shuts down. The values are restored the next time you open the OPC server project.
Proven benefits that help you deploy faster and operate more reliably
Acts as a device database or memory map container on the PC, sharing data across OPC UA, OPC DA, SuiteLink, and DDE clients
Bridges data between OPC UA, OPC DA, SuiteLink, and DDE clients without requiring a physical device
Supports a wide range of data types, including string arrays, for versatile tag configuration
Retains tag values between server runs, or at a user-configurable persistence rate, so critical data isn't lost
Automatically restores saved D register addresses and string values the next time you open your OPC server project
Multi-threaded architecture supports high scalability for growing tag counts and applications
Secure user management ensures only authorized users can view or modify data
Built-in redundancy, auto-demotion, and extensive diagnostics keep your virtual data environment dependable
"Outstanding reliability and performance. This driver has been running flawlessly in our production environment for over a year."
