TOP Server System Monitor OPC Driver
Reliable Access to Computer Performance Information
The TOP Server® System Monitor Driver provides access to performance information on processes, threads, and other system components on desktop and server computer systems with the same level of performance, stability and ease of configuration as any other TOP Server driver.
This driver provides data exchange between OPC UA, OPC DA, SuiteLink and DDE clients and Windows-based systems supporting the Microsoft Performance Data Helper API using the same syntax used by the Performance Data Helper library. Data acquisition is optimized based on upstream client demand while data integrity is ensured using extensive error handling.

Standard System Monitor Features Include
- Uses Object(Instance/ObjectInstance#InstanceIndex)\CounterName Syntax:
- Object - the name of the Performance Object that contains the instance or counter to be monitored. (e.g. Process)
- Instance (optional) - the name of the Performance Instance you want to Monitor. (Some Objects do not have Instances.)
- Object Instance (optional) - the name or number of the Object, if any. (If there can be multiple Instances of a particular Performance Object, this will be the name of a particular Instance of that object.)
- Instance Index (optional) - for Object Instances that can have multiple Instances at the same time that have the same name, this will be a zero based index specifying a particular Instance.
- Counter Name - the actual name of the counter. (Counters are specific to certain Performance Objects; meaning, a counter that appears under the Thread Object may not appear under any other Object.)

The demo is the full product once licensed. Once a client application connects to the TOP Server, the TOP Server runtime will operate for 2 hours at a time. At the end of the 2 hour demo period, the demo timer must be reset by restarting the TOP Server runtime service.
