Dream Report User Interface

Dream Report software solution combines 4 different modules to develop and execute reports.

Module 1 - Dream Report Studio: develop and configure projects (Logger and Designer)

Connect to Multiple Data Sources: The Logger Studio is used to define the connection to data sources and create rules for logging the data to Dream Report’s internal history, or an external database. The logger can aggregate data from a variety of sources, including various real-time sources as well as historical data sources.

Drag and Drop Configuration: The Designer Studio uses familiar toolbar ribbons with drag and drop extraction objects, making report configuration quick and painless. All report configurations can be done through simple property windows- no programming or scripting skills required.

Module 2 - Dream Report Runtime: execute projects

The runtime operates as a service in order to be able to proactively generate and distribute reports.

View Report Status: The runtime user interface shows the list of reports to be executed and the current status for each one, including the time when the report was last run and the next scheduled runtime.

Generate Reports On Demand: The runtime enables the user to select any report template and manually generate a new report with the last updated values. The user can then open and view the new report with a single click of a button.

Module 3 - Dynamic Report Generator: generate new reports on demand

Generate Reports from Anywhere: The Dynamic Report Generator allows users to select any report template running in the runtime and instantly generate a new report on demand. This module is available as a standard Windows application, a web application, or as an ActiveX component to be integrated in a SCADA application.

Modify Report Definitions On the Go: The Dynamic Report Generator can generate new one-shot reports on demand with their original settings, a modified time period, or by BatchID. The user can also replace the tag database for all configured report objects.

Module 4 - Dream Report Web Portal: access any report from a web browser.

Access reports from anywhere: The Dream Report Web Portal is ideal for distributing and sharing reports over the Internet/Intranet. Users can easily browse and display PDF, Excel, or Web Only based reports from the current project loaded in the runtime or generate new reports on demand using the Web Dynamic Report Generator. It can also be customized and integrated into other web portals.

Improved decision making at all levels: The Web Portal can facilitate global asset management and decision-making by all levels of an organization by providing up-to-date reports to operators, managers, and executives. Better, more accurate information leads to better, more informed decisions.
